93, passed away on October 2, 2015 at home with his loving family by his side. Herbert was born in Newark, NJ and has resided in Bayonne for the past 30 years, prior to that he lived in Middletown, NJ. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps during World War II in the South Pacific. He was a 60 year “Gold Token” member of the Masonic Grand Lodge of New Jersey. Husband of Joan (nee: Konzelman) and the late Ruth Damm. Father of Kathy Damm, and Barbara Damm and her husband Rich Robinson. Step-father of Michael Mullaney and his wife Barbara and their children Megan and Caitlin. Brother of the late Anna Herpich, Karl Damm and Emma Gibbons.
