91, a lifelong resident of Bayonne, passed away on September 22, 2015. He worked for American Can Company in Jersey City as a machine operator for 30 years prior to his retirement 15 years ago. Chester served in the United States Navy during WWII. Chester was predeceased by his wife, Lillian (nee Prochacki) Sutkowski; his children, Raymond, Teddy and Lillian Sutkowski; his siblings, Pauline Gawrych, Helen Schelmay and Edward Sutkowski. Chester is survived by his son, Thomas J. Sutkowski, siblings, Steve Sutkowski, Dorothy Lewis and Jean Bryk; and two grandchildren, Jeffrey Szymoniak and Meredith Brandon.
