A funeral mass was offered Sept. 25 at St. Nicholas Church for Antonio Colon Jr., 50, of Jersey City. He passed away Sept. 18. “Tito” or “Tony” as he was known by many was a lifelong resident of Jersey City where he worked as a master upholsterer and furniture restorer for 25 years. Antonio was the son to Elza and Antonio Colon Sr. He is further survived by his soulmate of 29 years, Marina Roman, and was the stepfather of Vanessa, Mario, and Andrew “Foro” Acosta. He was the brother of Elsie Carpena, Edwin Colon, and Alvin Colon, uncle of Roxanna and Rolie Carpena, and grandfather of Jaylin, Aaliyah, Isaiah, Neveah, and Yandeline.
