Hoboken—Hoboken Grace Community Church has invited all of Hoboken to participate in 1Day Hoboken, its annual volunteer event designed to make Hoboken a better place.
This Saturday, August 22, at 10 a.m., volunteers will come together at Church Square Park and then spread throughout Hoboken to spend a few hours working on projects for various organizations and schools serving the city. After the completion of the projects, the volunteers will come back together for an after-party at the Turtle Club at 1:30 p.m. to celebrate what was accomplished in just one day!
Volunteers will work in small groups to help local organizations and schools, like the Hoboken Homeless Shelter, the Boys and Girls Club and the Hoboken High School, clean, paint, and organize.
