HOBOKEN – Hundreds of adults and children came to Sinatra Park in Hoboken on Thursday night where Guitar Bar hosted the annual attempt to break the world record for the most people playing Bob Dylan’s “Knockin’ on Heaven’s Door” at once. Volunteers held up posters showing the chords so that novice players could strum (and use their harmonicas) in tune.
Songs from everyone from the Beatles to Katrina and the Waves were part of the night. They didn’t break the record, but that only means they’ll have to try again next year!
