Union City Independence Day celebration on July 2 includes music, art, food

UNION CITY – The City of Union City will hold their annual Independence Day Celebration on Thursday, July 2 from 6 to 10 p.m. along Palisade Avenue from 8th to 15th Streets. (Rain date is Friday, July 3.)
This year’s festivities will include many rides and activities for children including the popular children’s show “Rosario & Her Stars,” an art exhibit, classic cars, a history exhibit, free hot dogs and water, and live music by the musical groups El Capitan, Back in Business Band, Cubanoson, Union Hill, and Ray Machado y Su Grupo.
Admission to the event is free and everyone is invited to attend.
