A stroke of genius

Dear Editor:
An open letter to Mayor Zimmer, Commissioner Tooke, and Chief Ferrante:
I want to express my appreciation and congratulate you for your approach to the rush hour pedestrian/auto traffic issue in Hoboken, particularly in the southern end of the city and near the PATH.
The use of the auxiliary “crossing guards” is a stroke of genius. It is inexpensive and very useful. I think it has improved the quality of life in Hoboken immensely.
Again, congratulations from a longtime Hoboken businessman and resident.

Very truly yours,
Joseph Barry
