A funeral mass was offered May 15 at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church for Nicola Capozzoli, 85, of Jersey City, Marion Section. He passed away peacefully on May 11. Nicola was born in Gio Cilento, Salerno, Italy and immigrated to Jersey City in 1959. Nicola was a retired warehouseman for Enviorchem, Jersey City. Prior, he was a forklift operator for JC Penick in Jersey City and later in Lyndhurst. Nicola enjoyed his daily walks in the neighborhood, working in his garden, studying lottery numbers and inventing gadgets. Nicola was the husband of the late Josephine; father of Felicia and Joseph Capozzoli; grandfather of Alex, Ryan and Jade Gunshefski. He is also survived by his sisters Antoinette, Immacolata and many nieces, nephews in New Jersey and Italy. Services arranged by the Riotto Funeral Home, Jersey City.
