Sending West New York in the right direction

Dear Editor:
As many of you are aware, there will be an extremely important election for the mayor and Board of Commissioners of the Town of West New York on Tuesday, May 12, 2015. This election will determine the direction in which West New York will head over the next four years and beyond. I am extremely proud to be running for commissioner with such a great group of hard-working, dedicated and caring individuals who truly want to move our great town forward.
West New York welcomed my family over forty years ago and it is the place my family has been ever since. Growing up in town, going to school, participating in recreation, making friends, all made me proud to call myself a West New Yorker. I knew early on that I wanted to give back to the community that has given my family and me so much.
If given the opportunity to serve the residents of West New York, Mayor Felix Roque and our entire Column C Team will work tirelessly to improve the services and quality of life for our residents. The last four years have not been easy, but significant progress has been made through the reduction of crime, increased investment in infrastructure and a 0 percent tax increase for the 2014 fiscal year. Obviously, the work is not finished and together we must continue the progress to ensure West New York moves forward.
In closing, I would like to take this opportunity to thank my running mates; Mayor Felix Roque, Susan Colacurcio, Commissioner Gabriel Rodriguez and Margarita Guzman. Their dedication to our town is evident in each of their backgrounds and I know that this team will always put West New York first! On May 12th, help move our town forward and vote the entire Column C Team!

Sincerely,
Commissioner Cosmo A. Cirillo
