Valles amazing as Blackhawks roll

Zipping through week one with fairly easy wins, the (1-0) Blackhawks and the (1-0) Red Wings sailed into week two of their JCC of Bayonne Jr. Division Hockey schedule with plenty of confidence. The Red Wings struck first as David Matos assisted Michael Egan on a scoring blast but the fast start was short lived. Down 1-0, the Blackhawks went on a goal scoring tirade led by team captain Sebastian Valles who netted nine goals while also assisting Toni “The Tiger” Rivada on her first goal of the season. Desperate and down 10-1, the Red Wings did get 16 shots on net but the Blackhawks’ Edward Denne stayed rock solid in net while defenseman Dylan Subacz racked up five assists with zone clearing passes. The Red Wing’s did go out swinging as Jonathan Tom took over at net to settle his squad down and the move paid off as Aaliyana Cifuentes assisted Michael Egan on his 6th goal of the season but it was the Blackhawks’ day as they notched a 10-2 win.
