BACOLO, CLARA T.

A funeral mass was offered April 25 at St. Ann’s RC Church, Hoboken, for Clara T. Bacolo, 94, a lifelong Hoboken resident. She passed away April 22 at Hackensack University Medical Center. A retired bookkeeper with the H.O.P.E.S. program in Hoboken for more than twenty years, she was predeceased by her husband, Michael A. Bacolo (1983); a brother, Joseph Pullano; and a sister, Rose Pullano. Surviving are a son, Mauro and his wife Andree; two daughters, Carina Ruggiero and her husband Frank, and Annette Beckerman and her husband Rick; a sister, Edythe Verdonck; her grandchildren, Jacqueline and Michael Ruggiero, Laura Rebhien and her husband Kevin, Diane Vigalanti and her husband Vincent, David Bacolo, and Michael and Elysha Beckerman. Clara will be missed by her nephews and niece, John, David, and Barbara Verdonck; and three great grandchildren. Mrs. Bacolo was a member of the St. Ann’s Guild in Hoboken and the Travel Club of Our Lady of Czestochowa in Jersey City. Services arranged by the Failla Memorial Home, Hoboken.
