73, died April 5, 2015. A lifelong Bayonne resident, Billy repaired cars at his garage on 20th street for many years and retired from the Bayonne Police Department in 1994. He was predeceased by his daughter Jodi Ann Gleason; his parents, Martin and Elizabeth (Allen) Gleason; brother Thomas Gleason; and a sister Margaret “Sis” Correnti. Billy is survived by his wife retired Lt. BPD Joyce Gleason (nee: Polack); children Erin; Patrick and his wife Becky; Brian and his partner Shawn Chapman; Allan Warren and his fiancée Niaja Lynch; Shannon and her fiance Nikki Lee; Shaun and his wife Jeannine; and William “Billy” Jr. and his partner Cathy Cooper; his sister Ruth Smith; his brother Martin “Bub” and sister-in-law Monique; his brother-in-law Jack Powers and sister-in-law Peggy Kelly; and many others.
