HUDSON COUNTY – The Hudson County Schools of Technology has announced the official formation of the HCST Alumni Association, designed to foster lifelong relationships among alumni and keep them informed regarding the activities of the schools. The Alumni Association will promote communications and connect alumni not only with other alumni, but with current students to help them properly prepare for life after graduation.
West New York resident and High Tech High School Class of 2005 member Vanessa Cirillo has been selected to head up the formation of the association, and serve as the organizations president. Since her time in the HCST school district, Vanessa has gone on to attain her bachelor’s degree from Caldwell University and then her master’s from William Paterson University. Since 2007, Cirillo has been working in the Development and Alumni Relations Office of Caldwell University and will bring her years of experience and expertise in alumni organizing to the school district.
“I am thrilled by the opportunity to spearhead the Alumni Association for a school district that gave me so much – I am honored to be able to give back,” commented Cirillo.
