Funeral services took place March 28 for Ella (Ellie) K. Morgan, 94. She died peacefully on March 24. She was born in Coblenz, Germany, moved to the United States where she resided in Huntington, W.Va., Buena Vista, Pa., Jersey City, and North Bergen. Ella was a teachers’ aide for the JC Board of Education at P.S. 31 until she was 80 years old. She then worked in the Head Start Program of North Bergen until her retirement at 85 years old. She lived a life serving others and loved telling stories of her life experiences. Ella was predeceased by her husband James G, her daughter Diane M. Morgan, her brother Charles Boyer, her sister Mary Keilen and her grandson Peter Lemise. Surviving are her children Diana D’Ippolito and Philip Baker; her sisters Dorothy Brookhouser and Anna Marie Taylor; her grandchildren Gregory and Jason Baker, Anita Williamson, Michael and Joseph Lemise, Daniel D’Ippolito; nine great-grandchildren and three great-great-granchildren.
