To the Editor:
To deny that political and subjective factors affect decisions by the Board of Education is to overlook that the sky is blue! The community can only hope that an elected board will rectify this situation.
Still, a huge thank you must be extended to the BOE for deciding to name the tennis courts situated on the Bayonne High School campus after legendary coach, Bill Broderick. Also, special praise should be extended to Michael Lawandy, who was the force behind the project.
When the dedication date is announced, I am sure former student/athletes, parents, faculty, and citizens will be present to honor this exemplary teacher, coach, husband, father, and above all human being. BEE there!
