The Bayonne Initiative First Annual Gala a success

To the Editor:

On March 13 at the Knights of Columbus The Bayonne Initiative held its first annual gala honoring Jennifer Circkirillo and Councilman Tommy Cotter for their community service and Frank Perrucci for his lifetime of service in Bayonne. The fundraiser was a huge success with more than 220 people in attendance.
I would like to thank everyone who attended the event. Bayonne really came together to show their support for three great leaders within our community. It was great to see so much energy in everyone. I could see the true spirit of Bayonne manifesting itself in the room.
Special thanks to the committee who worked hard to make this event a success, namely: John Milan Sebik, Rafael Augusto, K.T. Torello, Donald Baran, Pat Desmond, Anthony Larino, Kim Larino, Diane Liming, Anthony Vodrazka, and Peter Cresci.
Special thanks to Alyce Cruz and Madison Roman for leading us in the pledge of allegiance and the national anthem, Kevin O’Connor for emceeing the event, and Adam Semanchick for providing the music.
Special thanks to Councilmen Gary La Pelusa, Sal Gullace, Juan Perez, and Council President Sharon Ashe Nadrowski for supporting our event and presenting our honorees with proclamations from the city of Bayonne.
Special thanks to Michael Gray, Director of Constituent Services for Congressman Donald Payne Jr. for attending and presenting our honorees with a congressional proclamation.
I would like to once again congratulate all three honorees and thank them for their service in our community. It is people like Jenny, Tommy, and Frank who make Bayonne such a great place to call home. Each of them has spent countless hours in service to our community and it was my honor to present them with their awards.
