A funeral mass was offered Feb. 27 at Our Lady of Mercy Church for Mark Anthony Garretson, 46. He died suddenly on Feb. 21 at his home. A lifelong Jersey City resident, born he was a plasterer and member of Local 29 Masons and Plasterers Union. He was the husband of Sonia Linares Garretson; father of Mark Anthony Garrretson, II. Mark and Sonia are expecting their second child in the next few weeks. He was the son of Louise D’Amato Garretson and William Garretson; brother of William Garretson, Jr., Vito Goglucci, Debra Soini and late husband Al; uncle of Angela Soini and several other nieces and cousins.
