Dear Editor:
I am writing this short letter to thank Dr. Marcia Lyles, Jersey City Public Schools Superintendent for having great communication skills within the community. With the snow storm that took place Monday February 2nd, I believed the schools should have been closed due to dangerous roads and sidewalks. I expressed my concerns to the superintendent and all members of the Jersey City School Board and was explained the process of determining school closures.
I would also like to thank President Vidya Gangadin, and Sangeeta Ranade for their assistance as well with the issue. It’s important that we all work together to make sure our children are receiving excellence in every schools. Keep up the good work, Dr. Lyles!
