Dear Editor:
I am writing to commend the firefighters who arrived at my house very very early Thursday morning when all the smoke alarms were all going off. I have 3 children and was so worried. I could not find the cause, couldn’t be sure if there was a problem and did not know what to do. The men found an alarm shorted by a water leak in the basement, deactivated it and made it safe.
I was so impressed by their seriousness and calm and ultimate good nature. I sincerely thank the fire department and each and every member who helped me out the other morning.
