FOLGER, WILLIAM

94, a lifelong resident of Bayonne passed away on January 22, 2015.
During World War II, Bill served in the U.S. Army from 1942 until 1946. Bill joined the Bayonne Fire Department in 1950, he attained the rank of deputy fire chief in 1974, and held that position until his retirement in 1987. He was predeceased by his wife Helen Ferry and daughter Ann Marie Sitzmann, and siblings John Folger, Margie Boyle, and Edward A. Folger Jr. He is survived by his children William F. Folger, Jr., Jeanne Demcsak, James Folger, Robert Folger, Mary Folger, Michael Folger, Thomas Folger, David Folger, 26 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
