Thanks for contributing to the toy drive

To the Editor:

On behalf of the Bayonne Housing Authority Homework Assistance Program, I would like to offer a sincere thank you to everyone who donated a toy or made a monetary donation to our annual toy drive. After distributing the toys and seeing the joy they brought to children’s faces, I have never been more proud to be a part of the program as well as the community of
Bayonne.
I would first like to thank Mayor James Davis, the Bayonne City Council members, the Bayonne Housing Authority Board of Commissioners, and Bayonne Housing Authority Executive Director John Mahon for their continued support of the program.
I would also like to thank the following individuals for their generous monetary donations: Freeholder-Elect Ken Kopacz, Assemblyman Jason O’Donnell, BCB Community Bank and their representative Catherine Laszkow, First Ward Council Member Thomas Cotter, Second Ward Council Member Salvatore Gullace, past City Council Members Agnes Gillespie, Debra Czerwienski, Terry Ruane, Raymond Greaves, and Joseph Hurley.
Finally, I would like to thank the following groups for their charitable toy contributions: members of the Bayonne Housing Authority Staff, Robinson School, Washington School, attendees of the Nicholas Oresko/Lincoln/Bailey School Holiday Party, Shamrock Society of Bayonne, Irish American League of Bayonne, Ct. Donegal Association of Bayonne, Bayonne High School Freshman Committee Class of 2018, the Bayonne Board of Education Central Administration and Staff, and the Bayonne High School Administration and Staff.
The time, support, and generosity of everyone listed above are very much appreciated by all of the children who attend the B.H.A. Drug Elimination Program, and we wish you and your families a very happy holiday season.
