To the Editor:
On behalf of the Windmill Alliance and H.I.G.H.W.A.Y.S., our social services outreach arm, I wish to express my sincere appreciation to the members of the Bayonne community for their generous contributions to the winter clothing drive. These items are especially welcome at this time of year, since the need is great.
I am also grateful to Mayor Jimmy Davis, City Council President Sharon Ashe-Nadrowski, Mr. P. J. Leonard, Community Development Program Administrator Samantha Howard, and the Bayonne Office of Community Development for spearheading this drive and coordinating the collection of donated items. Their leadership has made this one of the most successful drives of the year.
My thanks to all who took part. May you be blessed with love this holiday season and peace throughout the New Year.
