COULSTON, CONRAD

(BUDDY), JR. 70, of Toms River, passed on Sunday, December 7, 2014 at Ocean Medical Center in Brick. Born in Jersey City he lived in Bayonne before moving to Toms River in 2001. Buddy served in the United States Army during peacetime. He retired from the Bayonne Police Department as Captain after 35 years in 2001. He was a member of the PBA, American Legion Post 129, Toms River and the Brick Elks post 2151. He is survived by his wife Diann and his former wife Theresa Lambert, his son Firefighter Scott Coulston, daughter Lisa Marie Bauder, his niece Dayna and nephew Rodger. He is predeceased by his father Conrad who was a WW II veteran, served in Normandy, and was Deputy Chief of Hudson County Police, and his mother Miriam. His brother Rodger was a New York City Police Detective. Funeral arrangements by SILVERTON MEMORIAL Funeral Home, 2482 Church Rd., Toms River.
