A funeral mass took place Dec. 8 at Immaculate Conception Church, Secaucus, for Orlando “Scrappy” Critelli, 92, of Secaucus, formerly of Jersey City. He passed away Dec. 5. He was the husband of the late Veronica Critelli; father of Theresa Noce and her late husband Nicholas, Dominic, Thomas and his wife Louise and Robert and his wife Anna; grandfather of Christy and her husband Tony, Nicholas and his wife Ann, David and his wife Stephanie, Jaime and her husband Bryan, Dana and her husband John, Tina and her husband Mike and Robbie. Orlando is also survived by seven great grandsons, and his sisters Lillian Hughes, Mary Colasurdo, Victoria Martino, Florence Mazza and Helen Mecca. He was predeceased by his brothers Anthony and Dominic and his sisters Ollie Grecco and Josephine Nemzer.
Orlando served his country in WWII. He was the former owner of City Mill Supplies and Lando Realty both in Jersey City. He was a member of New Jersey Paper Recycling Association. Services arranged by the Mack Memorial Home, Secaucus.
