Weather events of the week: A little slippery overnight Tuesday; lots of rain on weekend

HUDSON COUNTY — Don’t expect any snowstorms this week like last week. Accuweather says that the region will see temperatures in the 40s and 50s on Monday through Wednesday, making it sometimes a little confusing when it comes to dressing for warm or cold weather.
Forecasters say there may be a wintry mix inland on Tuesday night into Wednesday. So prepare for roads to be a bit slippery that time if you’re traveling.
The bigger event may be this weekend, as rain is presently predicted for Saturday and Sunday, with some wind on Sunday. Is this going to be another surprise nor’easter? Actually, it’s early and anything may change.
On the plus side, hurricane season ended on Nov. 30. You made it through!
