Funeral mass was offered Oct. 24 at St John Baptist RC Church, Jersey City, for Rita M. Langan of Jersey City. She passed away Oct. 20. Rita was born in Jersey City, the daughter of the late Jennie and Daniel Langan. Rita was an educator in the Jersey City public school system for over 30 years. She was one of the founding members of Hudson Hospice. She was the sister of the late Rev. Campion Langan; also survived by cousins. Services arranged by the Houghton Funeral Home, Jersey City.
