WEST NEW YORK – The Dvine Konektion Community Development Corporation, a local non-profit organization based in West New York, is partnering with CarePoint to provide free pediatric screenings to all children under the age of 17.
The Dvine Konektion Monthly Community Fair is scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 18 from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at 5516 Jefferson St. in West New York.
No health insurance is necessary. The doctor will be able to write prescriptions if necessary and can refer patients to CarePoint’s Neighborhood Health Centers for further treatment as appropriate. They will also provide free blood pressure and cholesterol screenings to anyone interested.
Free bags of groceries (“bags of love”) and items for babies such as diapers and bottles will be distributed. Free lunch will be provided to the first 200 people who attend the fair. Please bring a photo ID and proof of residency in Guttenberg, North Bergen, Union City, Weehawken, or West New York.
Other vendors will provide additional information and services to the community.
