Dear Editor:
As a proud resident of Jersey City, New Jersey, there are many obstacles our city is facing especially in Ward A- Greenville. I have lived in the Greenville section the majority of my life and issues continue to plague my neighborhood. High crime, high taxes, high unemployment, lack of good quality public schools, lack of affordable housing, and poverty are just some issues which are terrorizing the Greenville Community.
I believe my community needs someone on the City Council who understands the struggles of life and who will make their voices heard. I also believe it is time to elect an African American to the City Council in Greenville to represent majority of the people. While it may seem early, it is important to never take time for granted. If I have not gained your support yet, I am looking forward too.
