Funeral services have been held for George Hugo Edler, 90. He passed away Sept. 21. George was born in Hamburg, Germany and lived many years in West New York. He is an Army veteran that fought in the South Pacific during World War II. He was past commander of the American Legion Post 107 in Hoboken. George was a retired salesman for Kuffel and Esser in Hoboken. George is survived by his wife of 64 years Agnes Edler; his son George P. Edler and his wife Eleanor. He was the grandfather of Rocco and Vincent and great grandfather of Anthony. Services arranged by the Vainieri Funeral Home, North Bergen.
