62, of Sandyston, died Tuesday, September 16, 2014, at home. Born in Bayonne, Steven spent his summers with his family at Culver’s Lake and eventually moved to Sandyston, where he has lived for the past 25 years. The son of the late John Robert and Helen Schindler, Steven is survived by his wife, Christine (nee Mageary) Schindler; three children, Jordan, “Emmy” and “Nate” Schindler, all of Sandyston; and his brother, Jack Schindler, of Bayonne.
