Funeral services took place Sept. 9 for Samuel Pellot, Sr., 62. He passed away suddenly Sept. 2 at Hoboken University Hospital surrounded by his family. Sam was born in Isabela, Puerto Rico, and lived most his life in Union City. He worked for many years as a Chemical Hazmat Technician at the Kuehne Chemical Co in South Kearny. He is survived by two children, Samuel Pellot Jr., and Nidsaly Pellot; his brother Carmelo Lopez, and sisters Julia Pellot and Altagracia Pellot, daughter in law Leidy and grandson Christopher Pellot as well as many nieces and nephews and close friends.
