Wife of Sandeep Srinath, Basu is survived by her brother, Sambit Pattanayak and her parents Sabita Pattanayak and Sarat Chandra Pattanayak. Basu doted on her dog Hugo. Born in Berhampur, India, Basu was a world traveler with a particular affection for the South of France. Basu made friends easily and touched many lives through her exuberant personality – she filled a room and made new acquaintances immediately comfortable.
