A funeral service was held Sept. 8 at SS Peter Ukrainian Catholic Church, Jersey City, for Michael Bober, 74, a lifelong resident of Jersey City. He passed away peacefully on Sept. 3. He attended St. Aloysius High School and graduated from Lincoln H.S., and was a graduate of St. Peter’s College. He was a retired Motorman and Conductor for PATH after 35 plus years of service. Mike was a U.S. Army veteran and also a sports enthusiast who loved the NY Giants. He was an avid collector of sports memorabilia and fine art. He was brother to his twin sister Mary York, and her husband Thomas; John Bober and his wife Lorraine Bass; uncle of Jay Bass Bober; friend to many.
