GUTTENBERG – The fourth and final show of Guttenberg’s Summer Concert Series took place on Thursday, Aug. 28. The Infernos played an entertaining and energetic set of popular songs, mixing old favorites from Motown and classic summer radio with modern pop hits. With a full brass section and multiple singers trading songs, the band filled the night with music, bringing neighbors out of their homes to literally dance in the street.
Boulevard East between 70 and 71 St. was closed off for the show and a bandstand set up, with ample seating and a dance floor, both of which got crowded as the sun went down and the energy went up.
The Infernos will play for free at Harmon Meadow Plaza in Secaucus on September 11 to close out the town’s Summer Concert Series.
