End-of-Summer Fun Night tonight in Weehawken

WEEHAWKEN – Residents of Weehawken ages 3 to 15 only are invited to the Weehawken Waterfront Recreation Park Complex on Wednesday, August 13 from 6 to 9 p.m. for an End-of-Summer Fun Night.
Among the games will be a water balloon toss, tug-of-war, and potato sack races, with lots more contests and prizes.
The Weehawken Waterfront Recreation Park Complex will be closed to the general public beginning at 4 p.m. and will reopen on Thursday, Aug. 14.
Shuttle buses will leave from the following locations and take Weehawken residents to the Waterfront Park Recreation Complex:
• Roosevelt School: 5:45 & 6:30pm
• Pathmark Pkg. Lot: 6:00 8- 6:45pm
• Webster School: 5:45 & 6:30pm
• Downtown: 19th St. – 6:00 8. 6:45pm
Return buses will leave the Waterfront at 9:15 pm
The event is sponsored by Mayor Richard Turner and the Township Council.
