To the Editor:
I’d like to thank TGI Friday’s for co-sponsoring our fundraising event for Bayonne School Board Choice, the citizens’ movement dedicated to bringing an elected school board to Bayonne. General Manager, Dafne Caraballo, and kitchen manager, Renata Lima, deserve special praise for their professionalism and helpfulness throughout our three-day event.
Of course, a heartfelt thank you to all the servers and other employees at TGI Friday’s who cooperated in making this fundraiser for the right of Bayonne people to vote, a great success.
Needless to say, we appreciate all the hundreds of Bayonne residents who turned out on July 28, 29, and 30 to show their support for democracy and a better school system that will answer to the people, and not politicians. A sincere thank you to all!
