On Tuesday, several local towns are holding celebrations for National Night Out, the time when neighbors sit on their porches and police raise awareness against crime. Many towns have small fairs and activities for kids.
In West New York, festivities will be held at Miller Stadium at 57th and Madison streets from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
In Hoboken, festivities will be held in Church Square Park.
Union City and North Bergen usually have elaborate parties and events too, so check with your local town hall!
