The 8th Grade Graduation ceremony at St. Augustine School took place on Saturday, June 7, 2014 at 2:00p.m.in St. Augustine’s Church, Union City.
Many parents, teachers and friends were present.
As special treat, the new Archbishop, Archbishop Hebda, gave the 8th grade speech. He encouraged the children to follow Jesus in their future. Their 9″Smarts,” ways of learning, were also spoken about (Howard Gardner’s philosophy of Multiple Intelligences – Harvard University).
Their teacher, Mrs. Ferrer, gave out 15 Presidential awards. This was a very bright and exceptional class. They will be missed.
