A funeral service was held July 21 for Mary E. Nelson, 91, of Jersey City. She died July 18 at Christ Hospital in Jersey City. Born in Jersey City, she was a lifelong resident. She was an administrative assistant at New Jersey City University, Jersey City for 15 years, retiring 1993. She was the widow of the late Neal P Nelson; mother of John, Mark, Matt Nelson and Jodi Begley; grandmother of Elizabeth Bubitz and Jessica Nelson; twin sister of the late Margaret L. Hamilton; aunt of Kenneth, Thomas, George Hamilton, Patti Hamilton, Margie Sipe and Karen Cucci. Also survived by nieces and nephews. Services arranged by the Greenville Memorial Home, Jersey City.
