A funeral service took place July 23 for Gary Hashway, 58, of North Bergen. He passed away on July 19 peacefully after a short illness. He was a graduate of North Bergen High School. He was the owner of Hashway’s Deli in North Bergen for 35 years after closing in 2012. He then began his second career at the Hudson County Schools of Technology in North Bergen in the career development center. He was the son of Ann and the late Joseph; brother of Joanne, and her husband Rich, and Glenn. Also survived by his nephew Wesley. Services arranged by the Vainieri Funeral Home, North Bergen.
