‘Armed devil’ robs Dairy Queen

STATEWIDE — The state police in New Jersey has just put out an alert asking for the public’s help in identifying this person:
“On July 11, at approximately 10:24 p.m., a male suspect wearing a red mask depicting a horned devil, a black hooded sweatshirt with the hood up, black baggy sweatpants, and grey cloth gloves with rubber palms, entered a Dairy Queen in Montague Township, brandished a handgun and demanded money. Prior to fleeing the scene, he struck an employee in the forearm.
“It is believed that this suspect committed a similiar armed robbery on the same day at the Days Inn in Deer Park, N.Y.
“Anyone with information is asked to contact the NJSP Sussex Station Detective Bureau at (973) 383-1514.”
