Dr. Suckow forces two games in the Bayonne PAL Senior Boys’ Basketball Division to win the championship over National Soda

It took two games for Dr. Suckow to win the Bayonne PAL Senior Boys’ Championship over the number 1 seed National Soda. During the season National Soda won the season series 2-1, and heading into the playoffs both teams were tied at a 6-2 record. In the first game Dr.Suckow won the game 42-40, to force a second game. In the first quarter of Game One; National Soda won the first quarter battle with a score of 14-6. Thomas Jurcisin, Connor Jurcisin, and Kyle Flood led National Soda in scoring. Steven Valencia led Dr. Suckow in scoring in that quarter. In the Second Quarter Dr. Suckow won the quarter 16-13. Jared Tobar, Jack Tobar, and Keith Moss led in scoring for Dr. Suckow. Thomas Jurcisin, Christian Walsh, and Marcus Manning led National Soda in scoring inthat quarter, at halftime the score was National Soda 27, Dr. Suckow 22. The third quarter was won in a close margin at 9-8. The score at the end of the third quarter was National Soda 35 Dr. Suckow 31. Keith Moss, Jack Tobar, and Jared Tobar led in scoring for Dr. Suckow that quarter. Thomas Jurcisin, and Paul Policastro led National Soda in scoring. The fourth quarter and game was won by Dr. Suckow by winning the quarter and game forcing a second game for the Championship. The quarter was won 11-8, winning the Game 42-40. Steven Valencia and Jared Tobar led Dr. Suckow in scoring. Thomas Jurcisin led National Soda in scoring. Keith Moss had 16 points, Steven Valencia had 11, Jared Tobar had 9, Jack Tobar had 6 points for Dr. Suckow. Thomas Jurcisin had 21, Marcus Manning had 7, Kyle Flood had 4, Paul Policastro and Connor Jurcisin had 3 points seperately, and Christian Walsh also scored 2 points.

In the final game Dr.Suckow managed to come from behind winning the game and the championship over an early dominated game by National Soda with the final score 51-39 in favor of Dr. Suckow. In the first quarter, National Soda won the quarter 10-7. Connor Jurcisin, Thomas Jurcisin, and Kyle Flood contributed for National Soda. Keith Moss and Steven Valencia contributed for Dr. Suckow. In the second quarter National Soda won the quarter 17-10, leading at halftime 27-17. Marcus Manning, Thomas Jurcisin, and Connor Jurcisin led in scoring for National Soda in that quarter. Anthony Valentin, Steven Valencia,Jared Tobar,and Keith Moss led in scoring for Dr. Suckow. Dr. Suckow led the quarter and managed to get the lead with a 3rd quarter score of 19-8. Jared Tobar, Keith Moss,and Steven Valencia led Dr.Suckow in scoring that quarter. Thomas Jurcisin, Connor Jurcisin,and Marcus Manning led National Soda in scoring that quarter. In the fourth quarter Dr. Suckow won the quarter 15-4. Keith Moss, Jared Tobar and Steven Valencia led Dr. Suckow in scoring that quarter. Kyle Flood and Thomas Jurcisin led National Soda in scoring that quarter.

Throughout the whole season in the Bayonne PAL Senior Boys’ Division, there was a lot of close-knit games, so this championship spoke for itself with thrills and chills throughout the entire game. Dr. Suckow won the Championship with a final score of 51-39. Both team fought hard to get to the Championship,and both teams showed why they were there. Dr. Suckow was led in scoring by Jared Tobar whom had 20 points, Keith Moss, whom had 17 points, Steven Valencia whom had 12 points and Anthony Valentin whom had 2 points. National Soda was led in scoring by Conner Jurcisin whom had 14 points, Thomas Jurcisin whom had 11 points, Marcus Manning whom had 8 points,and Kyle Flood whom had 6 points.
