entered into eternal rest at the blessed age of 101, at the Cusack Care Center in Jersey City, on Friday, June 13, 2014. Born in Poland, he came to the United States at the age of 11 and has resided in Bayonne for the past 90 years. He was predeceased by his parents, Alexander and Jadwiga (Urbanowicz) Czylek, his sister, Helen Zdanowicz and his brother, Joseph Czylek. Left to cherish his legacy are his nieces and nephews, Carol Torturelli and her husband, Joseph, Dorothy Keller and her husband, John, Rose Santiago and her husband, Orlando, Joanne Czylek, Joseph Czylek, Anthony Czylek and his wife, Fran, Jeananne Merkler and her husband, Rob and Maryann DiGiorgio and her husband Rocco. He is also survived by many grandnieces and grandnephews. Funeral arrangements made by DWORZANSKI & SON Funeral Home, LLC 20 East 22nd Street, Bayonne. Cremation will be private.
