There’s not always an app for that.
In Hoboken, where more than 50,000 people are living in a square mile, people occasionally want to leave a message for one or more neighbors. But they don’t always know who the person is who parked a little too close or “borrowed” their bike. Hence the need to take pen to paper.
Even the graffiti in Hoboken is sometimes written in complete sentences. It’s an educated, liberated town that sometimes prides itself on missives on walls and telephone poles.
In the past, we’ve run photos of handwritten signs involving pets, romance, garbage in the wrong place, and parking. (You can find one of those stories here: http://tinyurl.com/hobokensigns.)
Here are some of the newest entries seen around town. If you have a contribution, email it to editorial@hudsonreporter.com and put “Hoboken signs” in the subject head. We can give you a photo credit and link to your web site.
