Funeral services took place May 31 for Gloria Smallwood, 80, of North Bergen. She passed away May 27 at Hoboken University Hospital. Gloria was born in New York City to the late Catherine Youpa. Gloria was an insurance clerk with Witco Chemical Corp. She enjoyed cooking and loved animals. Gloria is survived by her son, Jon Smallwood; a brother, Philip Macchio; cousins, Juliana Savarese Sekely, Sonja Sekely-Rowland and her husband, James, Tanner Rowland and Roark Rowland. She was predeceased by her husband, Joe Clifton Smallwood. Services arranged by the Rupell Funeral Home, Phillipsburg.
