A funeral mass was offered May 31 at Sts. Joseph and Michael Church for Theodore Walter Kalisch 86, of North Bergen. He passed away May 25. He was born in Cliffside Park and lived most of his life in North Bergen. Ted was a police officer for the Port Authority at the Lincoln Tunnel for many years before retiring. He was a long standing member of The St. Joseph Catholic Club in Union City. He was predeceased by his wife Gloria A. Kalisch and son Paul M. Kalisch. He was the father of Katherine Larini and husband Rudy, Mark Kalisch, Jane Kalisch, James Kalisch and wife Trish, Thomas Kalisch, Anne Marie Kirkwood and husband Rob and Gloria Patrisso and husband Dennis as well as the father in law of Dawn Kalisch. Ted was the grandfather of Christopher Sullivan and wife Colleen, Marc Sullivan and wife Jamie, Ryan Kirkwood and wife Nicole, Colleen and Kevin Kirkwood, Jessica, Ashley, Lauren and Dianna Kalisch, Erin and Caitlin Sullivan and Jake Patrisso. He was also the great grandfather of Gabriel, Avery, Emma and Jake Sullivan, Brian Ralicki, Arianna, Isaac and Emilee Casey. He was also the brother of Stephanie Amendola, Barbara Bicocchi and the late Henry, Stanley, John and George Kalisch, Irene Fairchild and Sue Moglia.
