Hudson Theatre Ensemble offers ‘The Little Engine That Could’

Hudson Theatre Ensemble’s latest production from their Silly on Sixth Children’s Series is “The Little Engine That Could,” an adaptation with music, song, and dance that will entertain children ages 3 to 10 and their families.
The timeless classic about a little train that uses will and belief in herself to overcome obstacles has been a major inspiration for many generations of children.
In the 14th season of the Silly on Sixth series the show includes memorable music, an all-adult cast, and a dancing doll courtesy of Garden Street School of the Performing Arts.
The child-friendly, ground-floor, air-conditioned theater is completely barrier-free and accessible to persons with disabilities.

Diana London’s adaptation is directed by Howard Richman.
“The Little Engine That Could” will run for six performances on Saturdays, June 14, June 21, and June 22. All performances are at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. and run about 40 minutes, at the Hudson School Performance Space, 601 Park Ave., Hoboken. Tickets are $8 for kids and $10 for adults.
