A mass of Christian burial took place May 29 at St. Aloysius Church for Gloria M. Forte. She passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, on May 25. A lifelong resident of Jersey City, Gloria and her late husband Dominick owned and operated Bauer’s Wines and Liquors in Jersey City, from 1956 to 1988. Gloria is predeceased by her husband Dominick Forte; mother of Richard Forte and his wife Theresa and Dominick Forte; grandmother of Vito Forte and Gina Forte and her fiance Dwayne; sister of the late Margaret Allegro, Joseph, Vincent and Nicholas Marcello. Gloria is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Services arranged by the McLaughlin Funeral Home, Jersey City.
