CHIRICHELLA BOYS come from behind to beat POLICE DEPT., 15-13

CHIRICHELLA BOYS’ MATTHEW STEWART, ADRIAN PETRI and MICHAEL D’ANTONIO combined for five hits and five RBIs. POLICE DEPT. jumped out to an early 10-0 lead. CHARLTON ALONSO kicked things off for POLICE DEPT. with a double. A stolen base then moved CHARLTON from second to third. It didn’t take long for CHIRICHELLA BOYS to respond as it scored five runs of its own in the bottom of the fourth. CHIRICHELLA BOYS scored on a walk by NATHAN KRIEGEL, a bases loaded walk by LUCA CONETTA, an RBI single by MICHAEL, a walk by RYAN BURKE, and an RBI single by ISA OLIVIERI. CHIRICHELLA BOYS didn’t give up the lead after the fifth inning. Additional runs came from a two-run double by MICHAEL and an RBI single by ADRIAN.

 

GRIFFEN HAAS helps FIORE’S down CASSESA’S 8-3

 

FIORE’S beat CASSESA’S 8-3, behind GRIFFEN HAAS, who had three RBIs. He homered in the first inning. CASSESA’S was led by JACOB PANTOJA‘s hitting. JACOB went 1-2, drove in one and scored one run. He homered in the fifth inning. SAMMY COOPER recorded the win for FIORE’S. The game was never in doubt after the first, as FIORE’S scored three runs on a three-run home run by GRIFFEN. One run in the top of the second helped CASSESA’S close its deficit to 3-1. An RBI single by JOSIAN MATOS sparked CASSESA’S’ rally. After pushing across two runs in the top of the fifth, CASSESA’S faced just a 4-3 deficit. A solo home run by JACOB and a steal of home by ANTHONY HENRIQUEZ gave CASSESA’S life. FIORE’S responded with four runs in the fifth. FIORE’S scored on a two-run double by NOAH STRANDBERG, a fielder’s choice, and an RBI double by AHMAD BRYANT.

 

Offenses dominate as RUSSO’S outscores STAN’S 10-8

 

The bats were busy at Hoboken on Friday, and when the dust cleared RUSSO’S had a 10-8 win over STAN’S in six innings. STAN’S scored on A walk by ELIJAH GUTIERREZ and a fielder’s choice in the fourth inning and, an RBI double by VINCENT CHIRICHELLA, and a two-run single by JACK CONLON in the sixth inning. MATTHEW HARASACK had a busy day at the plate, collecting two extra-base hits. He singled in the fourth inning and doubled in the first and sixth inning. The game’s last lead went to RUSSO’S thanks to a first inning rally that saw three runs cross the plate on an RBI double by MATTHEW, an error, and a groundout by GAGE LUCKEN. In the second, RUSSO’S scored on an RBI single by MICHAEL EFFINGER, bringing home ROBERT BROCKMAN. RUSSO’S piled on three more runs in the top of the fourth. A clutch ground out scored MICHAEL E to open the scoring in the frame. That was followed up by MATTHEW’s single, plating ZACK GUIDO.

 

No-hitter leads YOUNG DEMS past FIRE DEPT. 11-0

 

Twelve batters couldn’t locate RODNEY CLASSEN as RODNEY threw a no-hitter on Tuesday, in YOUNG DEMS’ 11-0 victory over FIRE DEPT. Nine runs in the first three innings, helped YOUNG DEMS blow out FIRE DEPT. An RBI double by JUSTIN BROWN, a two-run error, and an RBI single by JASON BLANKS in the first inning and an RBI single by JUSTIN, a steal of home by ELIAS COLON, an RBI single by ANGEL QUINONES, and an RBI single by DYLAN ROSA during the second inning supplied the early offense for YOUNG DEMS. JUSTIN racked up three RBIs on three hits for YOUNG DEMS

 

Early lead gives ELKS easy victory over MARIO’S PIZZA, 14-5

 

Six runs in the first three innings allowed ELKS to put the game away early. A steal of home by SABASTIAN STOHRER, an RBI single by THOMAS SPADAVECCHIA, and an RBI single by MICAL AVILES in the first inning and a two-run error and an RBI double by JORDAN GOMEZ during the second inning helped ELKS put some runs on the board early. THOMAS racked up three RBIs on three hits for ELKS. SABASTIAN struck out 10 hitters en route to the ELKS win. SABASTIAN allowed one earned run, three hits and two walks over 5 2/3 innings.

 

Early lead not enough for MAS DEMOLITION, drop 5-4 decision to CHIRICHELLA BOYS

 

MAS DEMOLITION jumped out to an early lead, but was unable to hold on and lost 5-4 to CHIRICHELLA BOYS. A two-run single by MATTHEW STEWART gave CHIRICHELLA BOYS the lead in the fifth inning. ADRIAN PETRI was hot from the plate for CHIRICHELLA BOYS. ADRIAN went 2-3, drove in one and scored one run. CHIRICHELLA BOYS jumped out to an early 2-0 lead in the bottom of the first. CHIRICHELLA BOYS’ rally started when ADRIAN singled. More runs came home for CHIRICHELLA BOYS when OLIVIERI scored on an RBI single by ADRIAN. CHIRICHELLA BOYS never surrendered the lead after the fifth inning, scoring three runs on an error and a two-run single by MATTHEW STEWART.
