A mass of Christian burial took place June 5 at St. Aedan’s Church in Jersey City for Florence Campbell, 93. She passed away May 31. A lifelong resident of Jersey City, Florence was retired from the Western Electric Corporation. A devout Catholic, Florence was a longtime and faithful communicant of St. Aedan’s Church and a member of the Rosary Society, as well as a member of the Golden Club, Dante Alighieri Society, the Royal Arcanum and the Red Hat Chili Pepper Club. She was also a former Jersey City committeewoman. Florence was predeceased by her husband Leo F. Campbell and her daughter Joyce Campbell. She was the mother of Colleen Campbell; sister of Angela Donato and Frances Saporito and the late Mary Clites (George), John Giannuzzi (Helen), Peter Giannuzzi(Jane), Grace Kritzberg (Irving), Margie Derling (Clifford), Frank Giannuzzi (Lillian), Vincent “Cheech” Giannuzzi (Sis) and Anthony “Weenie” Giannuzzi (Cathy). Florence is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Services arranged by the McLaughlin Funeral Home, Jersey City.
